Realised I don’t actually hate web apps, and it’s not why I prefer native apps. It’s because most web apps try really hard to behave like native ones and failing in the process.

Web apps that embrace their webyness are usually quite nice! Micro.blog, Pinboard and Basecamp are great examples of this.
